In our centre, all radiography examinations are carried out using low-radiation digital technology, which eliminates over- or underexposed images.
All tests are stored in an electronic archive and are therefore always available for comparison with later images. In order to meet the high requirements of protection against radiation, we use a modern digital full-field system and digital image films.
We will, of course, discuss the results of the radiography examination with you personally. Findings are usually sent by fax on the day of the examination.
No prior appointment is required for general diagnostic radiography examinations. The opening hours of the radiology department are:
Mon – Thurs 8:00 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 17:00
Fri 8:00 – 12:00
Fluoroscopy examinations and full leg radiography
can only be carried out by prior appointment. Examples of fluoroscopy include oesophageal swallowing studies, x-rays of the trachea, and arthrography.
Usually, no special preparation is required. You will be informed of any necessary preparations for the fluoroscopy examination during registration.
