Knochendichtemessung München

Bone densitometry in Munich

We use an X-ray machine that was developed exclusively for this examination (DXA method).

The treatment recommendations of the osteological societies are based on the clinical symptoms, blood values and the results of the bone density measurement using DXA.

This has the following advantages for you:
  • short examination time
  • Minimal radiation exposure
  • reliable measurement results
  • 2 measurement regions: Lumbar spine and femoral neck

We offer this examination as an IGeL service. However, it is advisable to discuss the indication with your attending physician beforehand.

No special preparation for the examination is necessary.

Please bring the results of previous examinations with you so that a progress assessment is possible. Preliminary examinations are kept for at least 10 years.
