Data protection (logging)
The RZM web server is operated by 1&1 Internet AG in Montabaur.
Each time an Internet file is requested, the following access data is stored for statistical and data processing purposes
- the page from which the file was requested
- the name of the requested file
- the date and time of the request
- the amount of data transferred
- the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- the description of the type of web browser or operating system used
- the IP address of the requesting computer.
Information according to §5 TMG (Telemedia Act)

2. The professional titles mentioned have been acquired or awarded in Germany without exception.

The stored data is used exclusively for technical or statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data sets or passed on to third parties, even in extracts.
Cookies or JAVA applets may be used in the RZM information service. The use of these functionalities can be switched off by the respective user through the settings of the browser programme.
After the annual accesses have been analysed, the logged data is deleted. The analysis is carried out monthly and annually, with deletion taking place in January of the following year. Evaluation and deletion is carried out by employees of the computer centre.
RZM offers the option of entering personal or business data (e-mail addresses, names, addresses) when writing to RZM, for ordering purposes, for subscribing to newsletters, for feedback and, if applicable, for participating in discussion forums. The use of the services offered by the user is expressly on a voluntary basis.
Orders for publications are forwarded automatically (if they are placed via the corresponding order lists on the website) or on request to the employees responsible for dispatch. Once the order has been completed, the data will be destroyed. Alternatively, orders can also be placed by telephone/fax and/or by post to the RZM. This data will also be destroyed once the order has been completed.
The e-mail addresses for sending the newsletter are stored on the newsletter server and are not used for any other purpose than sending the newsletter. Subscribers to the newsletter can cancel their subscription themselves at any time; the e-mail addresses are then automatically deleted.
In each case (order, newsletter, feedback, discussion forum), the personal data provided (in particular name, e-mail address) will only be processed for sending the requested publications or information or for the other purposes explicitly stated in the individual form and will not be passed on to third parties.
